About us

Hi, my names Rebecca Grigson, I have been interested in Cheerleading since my daughter started cheering in Auckland in 2007. Sadly when I was growing up in the UK Cheerleading didn’t exist, I was heavily into Majorettes, Dance & Ice Skating. I have been in Marketing and Promotions for many years, mainly media, both in the UK and NZ. I have been very lucky to travel with Cheerleading and seeing the amazing sport it is I set up my own non profit club in Tauranga called Bay Twisters. Im also lucky to host my own Cheer & Dance Championships called Battle In The Bay, this is normally held on the first weekend in August at the massive Trustpower Arena here in Mount Maunganui and bring over 1,000 athletes to compete from across New Zealand.

After travelling to the UK & USA for Cheer & Dance and seeing the amazing merchandise on offer I decide to set up this online store, hopefully offering different Cheer & Dance Gear from across the globe, our aim is to offer affordable yet good quality merchandise that both dancers & Cheerleaders will love. Cheer & Dance Gear is lucky to have actual Cheerleaders and Dancers to be on a focus group helping me select cool things to sell on the site!
